We are located in British Columbia, Canada in the Metro Vancouver area, and the scenic, waterfront city of Port Moody. We are not a kennel! Our puppies are raised in our home with the adults sleeping in our beds and fully participating in our everyday life.

As a breeder, our goal is to produce the ultimate Red and/or Apricot Standard Poodle by carefully expanding the gene pool and proving our sires and dams are worthy of reproduction through Conformation showing.  We also have  "champions" outside the show ring in obedience, rally, agility and various health assisted areas such as "seizure detection".  By way of explanation, the red and apricot are not two entirely different colours.  Rather they are shades of the same colour which drifts from a very light apricot to a deep red and everything in between. Visit our web site to visualize the variety of shadings.

Our Standards have competed in both the United States (AKC – American Kennel Club) and Canada (CKC – Canadian Kennel Club), as puppies and adults, and the puppies have gone to forever homes all over North America, even Europe. We do not breed often, only when wanting to move our line along. This is our 16th (2018) year at this endeavour!

From the beginning, we have been proud that our foundation "Scarlett" was the first red female Champion in Canada, Owner Handled, and became the top producing red in the world.

With respect to health, we test for:
  • vWD, Von Willebrand Disease (the most common inherited blood clotting disorder in dogs)
  • Hip Dysplasia (abnormally developed hip joint)
  • CERF Exam (eye screening exam carried out by Veterinary Ophthalmologists)
  • Thyroid Level Test (blood test evaluating the function of the thyroid gland)
  • S.A., Sebaceous Adenitis (a skin disease that leads to the loss of hair)
All results can be verified for several generations by the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) at the following link:  https://www.ofa.org/
